Lower Kong (a.k.a. Vietkong)

An enormous valley with a trove of boulders resting in the gulches, stream beds, and slopes contained within it. As of now, the number of boulders that exist is a matter of how deep you're willing to dig. What's been developed is just the lowest hanging fruit, and it's some of the best stone in Hawaii.

These boulders were somewhat overlooked at first, as Kong, the spot that sits a thousand feet above this one, is more immediately impressive, featuring bigger blocs that sit in a tight cluster. Justin put up the first FA in Lower Kong, then, about a year later, Tyler and Matt saw the potential of the area; now, FAs are being put up and new boulders are being discovered every outing.
